| Key Points | The management of a lady with long-standing, chronic arterial leg ulcer heavily infected with Pseudomonas aeruginosa - a frequently isolated pathogen within chronic wounds. The wound was 100% green/yellow thick slough and the lady had a VAS score at worst of 8/10. There were high levels of odour and exudate. Previous treatment included iodine and silver sulphadiazine cream with reduced compression. |
