Click 'learn' to commence the module training, and then at the end of the module you can assess your understanding of what you have just learned by clicking 'test'. You can click 'test' at any stage if you feel that you are already familiar with the module contents. Chronic oedema/lymphoedema

Chronic oedema and lymphoedema are debilitating conditions, which, if not recognized and treated properly, will steadily worsen, leading to significant discomfort and reduced quality of life. It is vital that healthcare professionals have a clear understanding of how the underlying lymphatic and venous systems function, and the conditions/ circumstances that may cause damage. These modules also detail the assessment process to follow in order to identify clinical signs and symptoms of deterioration, and how effective management can lessen the negative impact that chronic oedema and lymphoedema have on patient quality of life, both physically and psychosocially.
