Post operative dehisced umbilical hernia

The photos are taken 30 days apart. The nurse and patient were "astounded" by how effectively and painlessly slough was removed.

Hyperkeratosis on a diabetic foot

Hyperkeratosis was causing "considerable irritation" to the patient. The photos, taken 2 weeks apart, show how effective weekly use of Debrisoft is at improving skin quality. The patient applied an emollient after each use.

Diabetic patient with dry skin plaques and weeping legs

Debrisoft removed the dead tissue which was causing an offensive odour, the patients legs weep less and remain infection free.

Painful mixed aetiology ulcer and cellulitis

The patient was very anxious at first having had her ulcer for over 2 years. Pain was felt at each dressing change and now in addition she has cellulitis. Debrisoft achieved these results in 5 minutes and no pain was felt.

Unclear why wound would not heal. Debrisoft was used to investigate further and under the slough this toe nail was found!

Leg ulcer of 7 months with hard eschar to wound surface

Debrisoft was used to remove hyperkeratosis and soften edges of eschar. This facilitated eschar removal by sharp debridement. Debrisoft was used again to remove offensive smelling slough revealing pink granulating tissue.
